Describe a time when you made a difficult decision. You should say: when it happened what the decision was why it was difficult and explain what the outcome was.

A time when I made a difficult decision was about a year ago when I had to choose between two job offers. One offer was from a well-established company with a good salary and benefits package, while the other was from a start-up with a lower salary but more potential for growth and learning opportunities. This decision was difficult because both options had their own unique advantages and risks. The established company offered stability and a clear career path, which was very appealing. On the other hand, the start-up promised a dynamic work environment and the chance to be part of something new and exciting, but it also came with the uncertainty and potential financial instability typical of new businesses. After much deliberation, I decided to accept the offer from the start-up. I made this decision because I realized that, at this stage of my career, I valued learning and growth opportunities more than stability. I wanted to challenge myself and gain new experiences, even if it meant taking a bit of a risk. The outcome was positive. Working at the start-up has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I've learned a lot, taken on various responsibilities, and grown both professionally and personally. While there have been challenges and uncertainties, the decision has ultimately paid off. This experience taught me the importance of aligning career choices with personal values and goals, even when the decision is tough.
